Christmas in Calgary - And my big news!

Hi ya'll - well...you haven't heard from me for awhile. But, that is because I was busy building Hartewood Professionals (my new biz) while working full-time for LLS. I wanted to share our Christmas photos from our wonderful, snowy, Calgary trip. I hope the new year is treating you well so far. All has been well here, and 2018 is kicking off to an exciting start! My big news which most of you probably already heard or saw on social media by now, is that I have resigned from LLS and am now focusing on growing HWP to full-time. I found I just wasn't able to do that while also working full-time and having the two littles. Thanks to Stefan for the never-ending support, his confidence, and his time watching the kids on weekends and letting me work every single evening at night instead of hanging with him. Hear what I'm calling my "exclamation point" on my time with LLS and share the "why" behind HWP! ( Scroll down to the pin video post near the top...

Holiday Spirit

To start off our latest post, just look at this sweetness from Z at daycare. This was a pajama day they had last Friday and she is working that camera! (See more updates below).  We had a blast hanging with some of our Calgarian friends and their kiddos who are similar ages to G & Z. We got them for three nights before they ventured to Disneyland. Everyone got along (for the most part), and we are excited to see them again over the holidays. Thanks for the visit guys!  Also, a very happy birthday shout out to Grandma Jo today! We hope you have/had a great day, see you soon!  Dress up was happening non stop.  Walking to the tree downtown.  Yep, ice skating in Phoenix ... the juxtaposition was definitely odd for us to see.  Z and one of her teachers she had since she was a baby on her teacher's last day :(  Friends from Z's class at Winter Wonderland at daycare.  A Frost...

Thanksgiving, Grand Canyon & North Pole Experience

Image
I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving! We had an awesome trip to Flagstaff with some other transplants who have a 3 and 5-year-old. We enjoyed an air BNB with a firepit and hot tub. Thursday we hung out and made a full meal, Friday we ventured to the canyon and Saturday we did the North Pole Experience to see Santa. It was A+. Just check out how Zoe felt about it :) (hilarious memory!), but honestly, it was a fabulous event. We are so so busy but with mostly good things. We did get our decorations up for Christmas though so we could enjoy it before we head to the great white north! Happy Christmas season everyone ... and like Gavin told his friends "guys...it isn't all about presents, it is about Christmas spirit!" :) (yes, we are doing something right!). XO
