Rob and Tamara!

Image
We had a blast hanging out with some of our best buds. Rob and Tamara spent five days with out sans their four kiddos. (For those at our July wedding they were the best man and groomswoman!). We missed home but it was great to have time with our fiends. They got to play honorary auntie and uncle to the kids and everyone enjoyed it! They enjoyed some sunshine and warmth as an escape from a Canadian winter.  We hiked to the top of the local mountain, went out to dinner just adults, played outside and in the pool and they enjoyed exploring Sedona and Phoenix during our work days.  Tamara is extremely talented photographer friend who has taken every professional photo of our family. She straight up spoils us! She took family photos and some of us at the top of the mountain, plus some with Zoe and toilet paper to match Gavin's. I'm so excited to see them! We also had Zoe's birthday BBQ while they were here because our friend Tyler who Stefan worked with at EXOS in F...

Zoe 11 months

Image
Zosie/Zoe Bean/Zozo turned 11 months earlier in March. We have had quite the last few weeks so I'm overdue in posting this. We were all sick at the time with fevers and it was a doozy! I think we are all on the mend (I'm the one who has taken the longest to kick it, talking two weeks of low grade fevers, oy!). Hopefully Zoe kicks this latest ear infection hers turned into as well soon and then hope she will be good for awhile.  Z's big news ... she is walking! We say she started walking confidently around 11 months and about 1.5 weeks. It's adorable and she's so proud! In other updates, she weighs around 16-17 lb and is struggling a bit gaining weight. When she gets sick she isn't interested in eating much and in general she is not that into solid foods. She still eats purees but we are working to get her to eat finger foods. She is also still nursing every three hours, and we want to think about starting to wean but also don't want to focus on th...

Around the house and town

Glad everyone has been enjoying our adventures from the month of February. Its always a big month for us! Enjoy some more snapshots of Underwood life lately. Best buds Grapefruit for all! So fresh and tasty.  Little buddies.  Space puzzle complete - thanks G&G H for the bday gift! Hike in Phoenix. G&S made it to the top and had a mini picnic. Best buds. A trip to the zoo complete with a carousel ride.  Art project, he wanted to make Z a painting for her birthday (yes way early). His apple tree all on his own. With little bird cut outs. Pencils I made for G's friends at school for his bday (no treats allowed at the organic daycare, love it!). I also made a pin the head on the Lego man game they had a blast playing.  Happy Z baby! New friend doing the nanny share with us, both on their rides.  Walk time, double stroller. All laughs on Thomas with nanny Kayla.  Afternoon out to ce...
