It's the most wonderful time of the year ...

We spent the whole weekend celebrating the holiday spirit with our FL friends! Friday night was a festive yoga class followed by a potluck at the studio. We packed our little studio (21 was our previous max, but we got 30 students in there. For those of you who have seen it, you know that is a packed house!). A team of five took turns teaching the class to holiday tunes. What a great way to give thanks to our wonderful little community! The best part was we raised about $500 for two local families for the holidays. It was a great way for our yoga family to bless someone else's family this season!
Natalie and I (30 weeks) at the holiday yoga class.
Saturday we built our rocking chair and ran some errands before heading out for Stefan's work holiday party. We just need a book case then all the furniture is set and the organizing can begin in the new year.

Stefan's work party was an evening of Cactus Flower (yummy local Mexican joint), catching up with Stefan's co-workers and their families, and a little bit of a Dirty Santa gift exchange. We are feeling pretty good with our kabob skewers and an itunes gift card!

Sunday a few friends joined me at Mass (the Bishop visited our parish for the first time ever and that was a packed house, too!). After lunch, they helped me prep some holiday cocktails and appetizers for a gathering of friends over at our house. We celebrated Brandi's birthday and had a gift exchange with the gals.
Me, Valerie, Libby, Brandi and Calli with our goodies from the gift exchange.

After all that, we feel blessed to get to have so many people here "adopt" and love us, but man was this soon-to-be Mama was TIRED! From about 6 p.m. on I was on the couch resting up!

We have an appointment this week to check in on the little babe (31 weeks this Thursday!), then we head up north this weekend for some more Christmas celebrations with friends and family. So glad to get to go back!
