Back in FL action

We've been back in the groove and are in the midst of surviving Stefan's second work trip since we've been back. Unfortunately, I have to go back to our home office next week for work, so we will overlap about 1 1/2 days. Then we have a week together before we jaunt back up to MI for Thanksgiving and Stefan meets us a week later. Boy is our schedule nuts or what?

I haven't been up for posting tons given several things 1) work is super intense right now with the pending implementation of a new client management system and relaunch of one of our priority campaigns - all set with a deadline of March 1. Thankfully this baby isn't due until early April, so let's hope both of those deadlines stick! 2) I'm heading toward 18 weeks pregnant, taking care of little G and handling the house - you know normal life stuff (of course with help of Stef!). So needless to say once Gavin is in bed (which by the way isn't always so smooth lately), I plop on the couch and just relax.

We had a great time at Halloween as a little Mario Brothers Family. Thanks to our trusty friends Libby, Shane (and surprise visitor for Shane's 30th, Shane's sister Jupi!), we had a blast eating fall favorites and trick or treating; although it was slightly rainy it was still warm!

We got a new bed! Which means we moved Gavin to our mates on the floor, he looks so tiny in it! We are still waiting for the frame, so will save the final picture till then!

FL Friends Showering us with Loads of Love

I have to say I feel very grateful and blessed to have some great friends in FL. It makes it a bit easier being away from family knowing we have loving friends here who are genuinely excited about Baby Underwood's arrival and spending time with him/her. Three special girls, Calli, Libby and Natalie, planned an Aussie-themed shower to go with the nursery theme. It was adorable and all so appreciated. Thanks to them and all the ladies who were able to make it out for a Sunday afternoon dedicated to celebrating the pending arrival of Baby U. Much love! Hand-knit koala hat! Brooke - you are so good! I passed my gestational diabetes test, uterus measured well, heart beat of the baby was strong, my weight was still right on and blood pressure was ... well, it is okay compared to where it has been. First Trimester Fun

LENGTH WARNING: Last post and this post are catching you up and will serve as a memory for us in the future, so we apologize they are a little long. Once we got home and settled from our European adventures we hunkered down while I fought daily fatigue, a decent amount of nausea, a few food aversions and a heightened sense of smell that often left me holding my noise and running away from its source. Our first doctor's appointment was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks and it seemed like forever away. One huge blessing is working from home where I don't have to get ready or act "normal". Stefan and Andrew helped out with some cleaning, cooking and errands while I really took it down a notch. I normally have a hard time resting and relaxing and not accomplishing much in a day, so my July was a bit different. The first appointment was great for the most part.
