Zoe's Baptism and Halloween

Whirlwind end of our year is in the works. Stefan came and went to Singapore and California and we all made our way to Michigan before he made his way to Germany (he has had the worst travel luck lately but thankfully when we all flew from PHX to DTW all went well, except the car ride thanks to a tired baby). Exhale...

The kids had a Halloween parade at school the day before we left, then we went trick or treating in downtown St. Johns with the businesses in the afternoon so we didn't have the kids out late or in the cold. Gavin already said he was cold and it wasn't even below 50 yet. Today is beautiful weather over 70, so he and Grandpa are strolling around outside and I already hear some tractors. We had fun getting to dress up with family and carve some pumpkins!

Sunday we had Zoe's baptism and had our whole Harte family together! So special nowadays. Thanks all for coming.

FL Friends Showering us with Loads of Love

I have to say I feel very grateful and blessed to have some great friends in FL. It makes it a bit easier being away from family knowing we have loving friends here who are genuinely excited about Baby Underwood's arrival and spending time with him/her. Three special girls, Calli, Libby and Natalie, planned an Aussie-themed shower to go with the nursery theme. It was adorable and all so appreciated. Thanks to them and all the ladies who were able to make it out for a Sunday afternoon dedicated to celebrating the pending arrival of Baby U. Much love! Hand-knit koala hat! Brooke - you are so good! I passed my gestational diabetes test, uterus measured well, heart beat of the baby was strong, my weight was still right on and blood pressure was ... well, it is okay compared to where it has been. First Trimester Fun

LENGTH WARNING: Last post and this post are catching you up and will serve as a memory for us in the future, so we apologize they are a little long. Once we got home and settled from our European adventures we hunkered down while I fought daily fatigue, a decent amount of nausea, a few food aversions and a heightened sense of smell that often left me holding my noise and running away from its source. Our first doctor's appointment was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks and it seemed like forever away. One huge blessing is working from home where I don't have to get ready or act "normal". Stefan and Andrew helped out with some cleaning, cooking and errands while I really took it down a notch. I normally have a hard time resting and relaxing and not accomplishing much in a day, so my July was a bit different. The first appointment was great for the most part.
