Andrew & Sara's Wedding and MI Trip

Little bro Andrew is MARRIED - wowza! We arrived to the hotel Thursday evening after being diverted to Grand Rapids and sitting on the plane for over an hour. It added a few hours to our trip, ugh. The kids did pretty well though but it is a lot of work on a plane with Zoe at her age. Friday and Saturday morning Stefan had to deal with getting a tux that fit. Turns out the store we went to mis-meausred and both him and Gavin's tuxes weren't going to work. In the end after the store order the right size then Fedex couldn't locate it, Stefan ended up wearing the mannequin tux - same size. Crisis diverted!

Our hotel was great and we had a joined room with M&D. Gavin slept on a mattress we moved to in between both beds in their room and we had Zoe in a crib in ours. She slept terrible the whole time, so much fun :(

Saturday was all go come the afternoon. The wedding was beautiful and so was the bride. It was a ton of fun to hang with everyone! We got a sitter who we let have Zoe once we sat down for dinner and then we took Gavin up there after he danced for about an hour straight. He was awesome and so much fun! The next morning we had brunch with everyone before we all made our way back home.

I am bummed we didn't get a family picture on the day of the wedding or pics. It was a bit hectic and by the time we had time, the kids were breaking down a bit, but hindsight I wished I would have fit those in.

During the week Stefan made his way to Ontario to honor his Grandpda who passed away the Monday before. He got to see his family and him and his brother took their parents out for their 40th anniversary a few days early! Then he went to NY for work for a few days before we met up for the weekend.

For the rest of us, several people were sick and Zoe wasn't sleeping great again, but we had some fun, too. Saturday I got to meet up with Caitlin and her bridesmaids and we picked out our dress for the October nuptials. Sunday Stefan and I got to run to the mall sans kids and we got a chance to celebrate Mom and Dad H's 40th anniversary early with a nice dinner Sunday night.

Now hopefully a quiet week until I have my first work trip since Zoe was born (sorry Stef!) beginning of next week.

Enjoy!
