Long time no update

Sorry everyone for the long delay. After our first MI wedding trip, we enjoyed some time at home then things got crazy again. We had Zoe's first Calgary trip including S's bday. Then Stefan had an 8-day trip to Amsterdam. This was followed this week by a last minute trip to Providence to cover for a coworker. When S after gets back tonight he will be taking G camping tomorrow and then Libby arrives for my bday! And exhale...

Honestly I think I was enjoying normal life then got overwhelmed with keeping things together! Works been busy, I have prioritied working out again, travel with two littles requires lots of work and than single parenting for over a aweek requires some dedicated focus. (Seriously how do single parents do it??). Then three is all that life maintenance stuff...

Anyway, we are all good! I have tons of pics to share but need to get organized. Here are some. The soon-to-be start of my 34th year looks not so bad :)

FL Friends Showering us with Loads of Love

I have to say I feel very grateful and blessed to have some great friends in FL. It makes it a bit easier being away from family knowing we have loving friends here who are genuinely excited about Baby Underwood's arrival and spending time with him/her. Three special girls, Calli, Libby and Natalie, planned an Aussie-themed shower to go with the nursery theme. It was adorable and all so appreciated. Thanks to them and all the ladies who were able to make it out for a Sunday afternoon dedicated to celebrating the pending arrival of Baby U. Much love! Hand-knit koala hat! Brooke - you are so good! I passed my gestational diabetes test, uterus measured well, heart beat of the baby was strong, my weight was still right on and blood pressure was ... well, it is okay compared to where it has been. First Trimester Fun

LENGTH WARNING: Last post and this post are catching you up and will serve as a memory for us in the future, so we apologize they are a little long. Once we got home and settled from our European adventures we hunkered down while I fought daily fatigue, a decent amount of nausea, a few food aversions and a heightened sense of smell that often left me holding my noise and running away from its source. Our first doctor's appointment was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks and it seemed like forever away. One huge blessing is working from home where I don't have to get ready or act "normal". Stefan and Andrew helped out with some cleaning, cooking and errands while I really took it down a notch. I normally have a hard time resting and relaxing and not accomplishing much in a day, so my July was a bit different. The first appointment was great for the most part.
