An upcoming visit and five more sleeps!
We've almost made it nine nights with just the two of us, and then Auntie Caitlin arrives tomorrow! Only five more sleeps till Daddy is home, too!
The beginning of the week was rough as he was definitely affected by his shots. He woke up four times the night after, which was hard on the this two-week stay at home mom. But, he got back into his routine by the end of the week. Since then he has woken up once one night, and he is eating a bit earlier, around 4:45 a.m. but goes back to sleep until 7:45 a.m., so that isn't too bad. I moved up his bed time routine by 15 minutes so dinner starts at 6:15 p.m. and bed time routine starts at 7-7:15 p.m. It seems to be going well so far. I think he likes going to bed by 7:30 p.m. I'm still doing the dream feed, but we'll see when that feels right to let that go. I am not going to change anything that drastic until Daddy is home to help if needed during the night and early morning!
We had some fun with friends this weekend. Thanks to Robb and Julie for dinner out on Friday followed by Gavin's dinner time and bath time help, Ashton for lunch on Saturday, and our friends down here for our brief visit during Calli's b-day party. We also had a great visit with Katie, Autumn (19 months) and Arrabelle (6 weeks) last week. That was entertaining to have all the kiddos together! As always thanks to Nat for hanging with us for dinner last week and a walk tonight!
It's been fun with friends, but we can't wait for Auntie to arrive tomorrow morning!
