A sickly visit, but a visit none-the-less

Well we were glad to have Gma U here, although we feel terrible we were all sick the whole time she was here (and even gave her a slight cold to remember us by)! The pumpkin patch, zoo, dinners out and the shopping sprees that we were looking forward to will have to wait until next year unfortunately.

I fell to the fever this weekend, so I was especially glad she was here until this afternoon to help us this weekend since Stefan is now in Japan for the first part of his business trip. Gavin faired pretty well with just the one night of a fever I posted about last week, and a little cough/sniffles lingering, but nothing the humidifier hasn't helped him sleep through.

We did gets lots of quality time in the house however, and Gavin and Grandma enjoyed at least two walks every day to get some sunshine and fresh air!

We also celebrated Gavin's first Halloween. He got quite the kick out of seeing all the kids come to the house to get candy.

Gavin's First Halloween - a glow in the dark Dracula. Mommy fail for forgetting to take a picture in the dark before taking him out of his outfit. I was not feeling great and it totally slipped my mind.

Gavin's first pumpkin - complete with his wiggly hand prints for ghosts.

Grandma and Gavin getting ready to pass out candy.

Gavin and sick Mommy with his My 1st Halloween bib (thx G&G H).

I'm not sick like Mommy, I'm happy and adorable!

Experiencing a pumpkin for the first time, and yes of course he tried to eat it!
Mastered crawling

Now only interested in pulling to stand up.

He's had lots of developmental phases recently and is waving (or more like sticking his little arm out at you).

A few work days then a big adventure traveling with Mommy to Tulsa for cousin Amanda's wedding. Let's hope Gavin adjusts to the time change so everyone gets some rest before the big trip (oh how I used to love thee and now I loathe thee for messing with our schedule, he did wake up during the night and an hour early despite going to bed a half hour early).
