Happy Birthday, Stefan

Happy 33rd birthday to my main man and the guy Gavin calls (or will call when he can talk, ha) Daddy! Stefan enjoyed the Zac Brown Band concert at the Wharf in AL on Thursday night with some friends and said it was amazing! We both worked on Friday of course, but on Saturday the birthday boy got to head out to the golf course for a morning of fun, sun and sweat!

Saturday morning, Gavin helped me get groceries and bake a homemade cake (well he mostly napped during the baking part), so that when Stefan got home we were able to celebrate our best guy together while enjoying lunch, cake and presents. We even made it to the mall to pick out something with one of his gift cards - some super comfy/can be dressy black Oakley shorts! He did get spoiled on the present front - lucky guy! We also did Father's Day since Stefan leaves on Friday for nine days for a work trip.

Saturday night our fab nanny watched Gavin so we could enjoy dinner out with some great friends. We love you so much, Stefan! Thanks for being YOU!

The impressive 3-layer, homemade cake with homemade frosting. It is absolutely not good for you but man does it taste good, and hey, at least I know all the ingredients in it!

LENGTH WARNING: Last post and this post are catching you up and will serve as a memory for us in the future, so we apologize they are a little long. Once we got home and settled from our European adventures we hunkered down while I fought daily fatigue, a decent amount of nausea, a few food aversions and a heightened sense of smell that often left me holding my noise and running away from its source. Our first doctor's appointment was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks and it seemed like forever away. One huge blessing is working from home where I don't have to get ready or act "normal". FL Friends Showering us with Loads of Love

I have to say I feel very grateful and blessed to have some great friends in FL. It makes it a bit easier being away from family knowing we have loving friends here who are genuinely excited about Baby Underwood's arrival and spending time with him/her. Three special girls, Calli, Libby and Natalie, planned an Aussie-themed shower to go with the nursery theme. It was adorable and all so appreciated. Thanks to them and all the ladies who were able to make it out for a Sunday afternoon dedicated to celebrating the pending arrival of Baby U. Much love! Hand-knit koala hat! Brooke - you are so good!
