Meeting Henry and weekend fun

A few weeks ago Gavin moved up in his gymnastics class! When Stefan and Gavin got home, Gav ran up to me and handed me this paper ... all proud and smiling! 


He now goes in by himself with the other kids. There are about 8-10 of them with two teachers. It is pretty cute to watch. He still can't do the forward roll like the little girls (apparently the center of gravity is different), but he is so cute trying then flopping to the side. He will miss a month when we go to MI, but hopefully he will pick it right back up when we get back. 

We also went picking muscadine grapes at our new fav fruit picking farm in AL by Libby and Shane's house. We picked like 12 oz in no time and then shared with everyone at Stefan's work. Pretty tasty! 


Then we got to meet Henry Tyler Wilkins, Ashton and Tyler's baby! We threw them the Baby-Q in June so may remember the names. He's ever so tiny and precious.

Looking forward to having Stefan back this weekend and then getting everything set of our next big adventure (MI for Gavin and Europe for us!!!).

FL Friends Showering us with Loads of Love

I have to say I feel very grateful and blessed to have some great friends in FL. It makes it a bit easier being away from family knowing we have loving friends here who are genuinely excited about Baby Underwood's arrival and spending time with him/her. Three special girls, Calli, Libby and Natalie, planned an Aussie-themed shower to go with the nursery theme. It was adorable and all so appreciated. Thanks to them and all the ladies who were able to make it out for a Sunday afternoon dedicated to celebrating the pending arrival of Baby U. Much love! Hand-knit koala hat! Brooke - you are so good! Lots of our FL family. Aussie-themed cupcakes, and they tasted great, too! To see the full album check it out here . Our last appointment went well! I passed my gestational diabetes test, uterus measured well, heart beat of the baby was strong, my weight was still right on and blood pressure was ... well, it is okay compared to where it has been. First Trimester Fun

LENGTH WARNING: Last post and this post are catching you up and will serve as a memory for us in the future, so we apologize they are a little long. Once we got home and settled from our European adventures we hunkered down while I fought daily fatigue, a decent amount of nausea, a few food aversions and a heightened sense of smell that often left me holding my noise and running away from its source. Our first doctor's appointment was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks and it seemed like forever away. One huge blessing is working from home where I don't have to get ready or act "normal". Stefan and Andrew helped out with some cleaning, cooking and errands while I really took it down a notch. I normally have a hard time resting and relaxing and not accomplishing much in a day, so my July was a bit different. The first appointment was great for the most part.
