Photo and video dump

Things have been somewhat "normal" around here the last three weeks or so since G&G U migrated back up north. We have enjoyed all being home together and falling into somewhat of a routine. Its good too because between next week and the end of the year things will be wild. We just booked about 10 plane tickets or so...now is when I'm thankful for Stefan's air miles!

Stefan has a work trip next week then him and G man are doing a daddy son trip to Calgary! We will all venture to MI in the fall while Stefan heads to Germany from there to teach a three week course then we will spend a few weeks home before heading back to the Midwest for Christmas. Can't keep it straight? Yea, I barely can either!

We are anxiously awaiting cooler weather so we can explore more around our new city. But for now, here are lots of pics and photos from the last little while around the house.

Bath time prep, she gets excited, but isn't showing her full potential here. Pardon my voice to try to persuade her ;)

Stefan and Daddy built this lego together (for ages 7 and up). Took them two hours at the table and Gavin didn't get up once. They are his new fav thing, and so good for his development. Happy parents!

Someone likes peek-a-boo! Don't you wish you knew what she was trying to say?

Our precious girl

Love this little outfit! Six months, because she is so long.

Loves splashing at bathtime.

Making chicken nuggets for Sunday dinner. Gavin can tel you the order to dip...flour, egg, breadcrumbs.

We thought she might be ready for food since she has seemed interested lately. Plus she is only 9% in weight and the pediatrician said she could have food between 4-6 months. Well, she does NOT know what to do with it when we put it in her mouth. We will wait a few more weeks and try again. We waited till 6 months with Gavin so she will be fine.

Avocado and breast milk-maybe not a fan yet.

She normally cracks up when Gavin hangs with her, its adorable.

My loves

Dust storm...pretty crazy huh?

Can see the outline of the storm.

New outfit

Some tummy naps at school

A little sleepy smile

Testing out the backpack to see if G still fits in it, and we think he does. Now if it would just cool off a bit.

Pool pals

Kid loves cooking, this is him playing chef at school. I need to start buying cheap ingredients just for him to use at home!

Asked for a hair cut and sat on his own!

Sigh, perfection.

Then there is this ... haha. So he got these new rubber firefighter boots and he loves them. He is going to be a firefighter for Halloween and I stopped in to a consignment store to ask about selling our baby swing and saw these in his size. When he got home he was walking around with his hands on his hips, haha. Then he put on this "helmet", glasses and the training mask Stefan is demoing to complete the look. Hilarious!

Practicing for the Olympics
Splashing in her bath. And again as soon as I get my camera out she tames it down. I'll get it one day!

Gavin gave her, her first bite! Sort of :)
