Greetings friends and family!
If anyone of you are still out there reading when I save a post, thanks for hanging in there! With the new business and all the brainpower it is taking, I simply haven't been moved to prioritize updating here. My apologies!!
I had an amazing retreat in Montana for my first client in early March, and it was awesome! The connections and the time to focus on the business plus the professional development (and getting a little spoiled) was so amazing. After that, we had a great visit with M&D H and a great trip to Flagstff and the Grand Canyon. We were pumped my brother Matt could join but felt pretty bad he broke his baby toe playing with the kids the first night! He still got to see the Canyon though. Stefan and I then had a fabulous month-late anniversary trip to northern Arizona and Utah while M&D came back to Phoenix and hung out with the kids for four days. It was simply beautiful there and wonderful for time together just us.
We had a lovely Easter and enjoyed celebrating Zoe's 2nd birthday (what!). A brief update on the little lady. She is spunky and also nurturing. She is determined and also cuddly. She loves olives, cheese (mostly string cheese), noodles, and milk and maybe a few other things like clementines and pretzels, but she is not the greatest eater. She goes to bed perfectly right now but still wakes up way too early (before 6 a.m. usually), but she does nap well. She loves jumping off anything, trying to keep up with Gavin, playing with balls, playing in the water, and being outside. She also loves covering up and patting her stuffies on the back. She speaks fairly well and is super independent wanting to do everything on her own. We could not love this little being more. The sweetest part of the day is snuggling her after a book before bed and singing the same lullaby song every night to the point where she now knows some of the words and sings along. My heart could practically burst!
Coming up next is a few months at home for myself and the littles while Stefan has two work trips, then we head to MI end of May and Calgary end of July before Gavin starts the big K this August (oy!!!).
I hope you have all been well. XOXO
