Passion Project - my big reveal!

With the new year trekking on and all the reflection that comes along with this time of year, I have found that I'm in one of those times of my life where I need to DO. I've spent the last two years focusing on Gavin and our family and for the start of this year I wanted  NEEDED something for me. With a lot of guidance, thought and prayer, I figured out I desperately miss serving others through my talents ... yoga! Since taking on a weekly class seems more daunting than anything else because of Stefan's travel schedule, working FT and having a toddler, I decided that wasn't the answer. The answer was ANOTHER RETREAT! To my dearest friends and family - my faithful blog followers - I'd like to introduce you to PURPOSEFUL PATH, LLC. Yes, you read that right, I'm planning another retreat where I can create something positive for my guests, where I can serve others through my talents, and where I get to receive through giving. Its a win, win win! This time, how...

We've been home a week and a half and Gavin's been enjoying some of his favorite pastimes at the homestead. Hope everyone is settling back into their routines nicely as well! Riding in the jeep! Napping with Mommy on the weekends. This is a new one, but playing with mustaches - thanks Sweet Pea :) We got in on the action, too. And so did Libby and Shane! Gavin's converted his to a unibrow. Testing out his new easel - which is now a daily occurance! Of course his artist Grandma is happy he likes it!  Jumping down the stairs at the beach. Playing when "Daddy's home!"

2015 Holidays and yearend wrap up

Our little family is back in Florida at home and will all be together for about 7 weeks at least. What a whirlwind holiday season and entrance into the new year! Welcome 2015 and may all of you faithful blog followers already be feeling hope and health for the new year! This is long overdo but in fairness we did get hit with some more sickness once we got home, so I'm just now getting myself organized. Over the month of December, we were spoiled with love and family and friend time, and boy did we take advantage of our time up north. I got in some visits with friends early on in my time there in between working. Then we enjoyed a large Harte family Christmas at Mom and Dad H's before venturing to NW Indiana for Christmas once Stefan arrived to MI from Poland. The house we rented held 25 of us, with almost 25 more of us joining us for both Matt's surprise party on Dec. 23 to celebrate his 20-year cancer free anniversary and Christmas Eve. Matt was shocked and had no clu...

Some pictures of the Gavin Chronicles up here in MI. We enjoyed the Harte Christmas party and saw lots of family we haven't seen for several years. Anxiously awaiting Daddy's arrival on Monday! Frosty is thristy Cookie decorating! Snuggling in the corner during my lunch break. New jimmies from Godfather Andrew Harte Christmas party, he loved the triplets and the older cousins. Followed them around and made them pick him up, so cute! Lansing Potter's Park zoo lights. Watching the skaters. Oh Uncle Andrew is fun! Lots of reading lately. Some snuggles and books with Grandpa. Auntie and Grandma walking at the zoo. Uncle Matt takes a turn. Pretty Auntie and Gavin. Auntie read to him and he fell asleep 1.5 hours before his normal nap time, must have been worn out. Pictures to text Daddy in Poland. Kisses for Santa.

Firsts of MI

Gavin has been feeling better so let's hope it continues that direction. He's been exploring G&G's house and messing with all the Christmas decorations. He of course loves the train under the tree the best. He and Uncle Matty are big buds and he likes to help get his water filled in the morning plus see him after work. So far, I have enjoyed some "sleep-ins" before staring work while Mom and Dad get up with Gavin (THANK YOU!). I also got to see some of my best ladies last night for a dinner out. This weekend we have the Harte Christmas party at my parent's house, then next week, a few more visits after work are on the schedule plus a day off for shopping with Mom! Stefan is doing well so far in Poland and says although giving the course through a translator is a new challenge it is going well. We already can't wait to pick him up Dec. 22. Hope everyone is enjoying the magic of this season so far! A little squirmish with the train but has Uncl...
