Daddy's Birthday

Dad's work trip got cancelled so we were only without him for a long weekend while he celebrated a friend's wedding in St. Louis (Congrats Heidi and Kristian!). Our sweet friend Libby spent the weekend with us and we had a great time going shopping and out to lunch (thanks girl!). Gavin is such a trooper!

This also meant we got to see Dad on his birthday and we celebrated this weekend! It was a busy weekend starting with a family-of-three dinner out for Indian followed by cupcakes at home and presents. The next day Dad got to golf and then we had some friends over for a backyard BBQ. Sunday we visited some friends from Indy who were staying at Orange Beach, AL (about an hour) but Tropical Storm Andrea is lingering and it was storming and pouring down rain most of the day. At least we got to catch up. We are all tired, but we had fun celebrating Daddy!

Oops - fail! I brought the cupcakes outside to sing and apparently there was a breeze so he didn't get to blow out his candles, oh well, one made it through!
