Zosie/Zoe Bean/Zozo turned 11 months earlier in March. We have had quite the last few weeks so I'm overdue in posting this. We were all sick at the time with fevers and it was a doozy! I think we are all on the mend (I'm the one who has taken the longest to kick it, talking two weeks of low grade fevers, oy!). Hopefully Zoe kicks this latest ear infection hers turned into as well soon and then hope she will be good for awhile.
Z's big news ... she is walking! We say she started walking confidently around 11 months and about 1.5 weeks. It's adorable and she's so proud! In other updates, she weighs around 16-17 lb and is struggling a bit gaining weight. When she gets sick she isn't interested in eating much and in general she is not that into solid foods. She still eats purees but we are working to get her to eat finger foods. She is also still nursing every three hours, and we want to think about starting to wean but also don't want to focus on that until she is eating more so we are at a bit of a standstill. There wouldn't be a rush but we'd like her eating better by when she goes back to daycare which is supposed to be right after her birthday.
She sleeps okay when she is healthy, normally waking up once or sometimes twice. We are trying to transition her to one longer nap after lunch to prepare her for her next daycare room. She does okay unless she gets up too early. She wears 12 month clothes but can still fit into her 9 month stuff. She can high five, wave hi and bye, say mama and dada, shake her head no and has successfully signed back to us for "milk", "all done" and "more".
She still is a great snuggler when she wants to be, is a bit more adventurous, is quite curious (or noisy, ha!), loves her paci, is infatuated with her big bro (although his patient with her is wavering), loves being outside and loves being held (yep, I remember this time when I feel like I have a baby on the hip at all times - need to try to cherish it, I know it will be fleeting!).
We are figuring out what we will do to celebrate this little one's birthday next month - ah! We love our sweet little Zoe!

First spring training game, didn't last long! Learning to drink from a sip cup.

Running up and down the hill before the baseball game. He likes going but doesn't like to actually sit and watch the game. We made it to the 3rd inning.

Walking all holding hands.

My cool husband at a video shoot downtown this week - he isn't one of the models (he's making sure the models are doing the movements right) but should be don't you agree ;)

Stefan's latest project, he built a planter box! He built it and it seems really stable. Now we have to hope the soil stays in it! This coming weekend ee are going to plant tomatoes, strawberries, green peppers and carrots we think plus work on our soil (maybe use worms to keep it organic) and probably get some bird netting.

The bos sits on the rocks right behind where it is in this picture. Can't wait to get our goods in it!

Look at these huge grapefruit! Neighbor was giving them away for free from their tree.
