I simply can't believe we have a 5 month old, that is almost six months, which is half way to a year people! Gavin and Mom survived flying to MI for a trip to G&G Harte's house. Overall not too bad, just a little hard on Mommy. We had a great Fourth of July and now a great visit so far. Lots of photos so check out the link at the bottom!

What has Gavin been up to and how is he doing at 5 months? Well ...
- He now has TWO teeth! The bottom two have come in. A week or so before we see them he is fussy for a few days but then he is back to his happy self even when the tooth comes through. I love his toothy grin now!
- He loves walks in his stroller, Sophie the giraffe, sucking/chewing on everything, being outside, chewing on things, grabbing people's faces, smiling and he is a great laugher.
- He is ticklish! If Daddy brushes his facial hair on his back or feet he belly laughs!
- He is a pro at rolling from back to front, then he gets annoyed that he can't go anywhere from there. He is so close to crawling already it feels like. His little legs have it down but his tiny bum goes up in the air because he hasn't figured his arms out yet. He just pushes his head into the ground instead. When he gets his arm(s) out of his swaddle at night he'll wake us up annoyed that he rolled onto his stomach but can't move.
- When he is excited and you pick him up he burrows his head into your chest, love it!
- Sleep is better, he likes G&G's house and has been sleeping 5-7 hour stretches!
- He is still the social butterfly who loves to be out in public and is interactive with everyone. He also likes being outside!
