Ashton's Shower and My Bday

A few friends and I hosted a Baby-Q couples shower for Ashton and Tyler (Stefan's colleague) on Saturday. Henry Tyler is set to arrive in mid-August and be the newest EXOS baby! 

We had a blast with the theme and instead of actives for the ladies we set up a Photo Booth - really cute and fun (all thanks to the fab Libby and her ideas!). 




























Then the bday fun began. I got this surprise actually on Friday from my Call Center team - love edible arrangements. This came with an Amazon gift card :) Gavin loved it (tried one of everything) and even tried the "salad" filler, a.k.a. kale.

Gavin got his first clipper hair cut from Daddy - saves money but is oh so short. We will see...

Then we spent the day visiting our friends Lauren, Dan and Nora from Indy who are vacationing on Pensacola Beach with their family. They have a great beach house with a  pool and its just a quick walk down to the beach. They are so welcoming, love this family!

LENGTH WARNING: Last post and this post are catching you up and will serve as a memory for us in the future, so we apologize they are a little long. Once we got home and settled from our European adventures we hunkered down while I fought daily fatigue, a decent amount of nausea, a few food aversions and a heightened sense of smell that often left me holding my noise and running away from its source. Our first doctor's appointment was scheduled for 8 1/2 weeks and it seemed like forever away. One huge blessing is working from home where I don't have to get ready or act "normal". FL Friends Showering us with Loads of Love

I have to say I feel very grateful and blessed to have some great friends in FL. It makes it a bit easier being away from family knowing we have loving friends here who are genuinely excited about Baby Underwood's arrival and spending time with him/her. Three special girls, Calli, Libby and Natalie, planned an Aussie-themed shower to go with the nursery theme. It was adorable and all so appreciated. Thanks to them and all the ladies who were able to make it out for a Sunday afternoon dedicated to celebrating the pending arrival of Baby U. Much love! Hand-knit koala hat! Brooke - you are so good! I passed my gestational diabetes test, uterus measured well, heart beat of the baby was strong, my weight was still right on and blood pressure was ... well, it is okay compared to where it has been.
